About the Author

Peter Farrar is an author, professional photographer and IT leader with over 30 years of experience. His technology career took him from a computer sales business in his early twenties to 18 years in the United States, where he became Senior Network Engineer at the US Senate before moving into IT leadership, later returning to the UK for senior roles across global finance and defence.

Photography developed alongside that career. After early teaching experience at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon, he built a wedding and portrait business in the USA, founding Kenneth Light Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina, and training around 300 photographers in lighting, posing and editing workflows. It was the frustration of finding no single comprehensive resource that led directly to this book. Peter is also the author of the three-volume Mastering Digital Photography series and ‘Leadership: The Culture Fix’.
