Seasons in the Peak District
Audience: General
Language: English
‘Seasons in the Peak District’, landscape photographer Lee Howdle presents a stunning collection of photographs captured across the different seasons, revealing how light, weather and atmosphere continually reshape Britain’s first National Park. This is not a guidebook, it’s a visual experience of the places walkers return to again and again.
Watch sunrise spill across Mam Tor and the Great Ridge, morning mist pour through Winnats Pass, and frost settle along the edges of Derwent Edge. Spring awakens in Padley Gorge, summer warmth rolls over Chrome Hill, and autumn colours glow across Curbar Edge and Bamford Edge. Iconic viewpoints including The Roaches and Thor’s Cave appear in changing conditions rarely witnessed in a single visit.
Each image has been patiently created in real conditions, early starts, shifting cloud, and fleeting moments of light, capturing the true character of the landscape rather than postcard perfection.
Perfect for lovers of the outdoors, walkers, and photography enthusiasts, ‘Seasons in the Peak District’ makes an ideal keepsake or gift, bringing the atmosphere of the hills into your home and letting you experience the Peak District all year round, whatever the weather outside.
